MMic offers comprehensive supply solutions. MMic provides better tracking and supply usage analysis to help you manage your materials more efficiently. MMic will assist in reducing waste and theft, and department overstocking. To identify point-of-use and vendor performance, MMic can track and report problems areas and bottlenecks in your supply chain. MMic can also reduce time consuming processes by automating manual tasks such as distribution and physical inventory with barcode technology. Purchase orders can be sent electronically with our EDI interface or exported to GHX/Medibuy's Cyclone servers.

 

Purchasing The MMic software contains a comprehensive purchase order module. MMic allows for the ordering of stock products, non stock products, and consignment items. The system also allows for creation of capital projects and monitors budgets and purchases for each individual project. Purchase orders can be sent via EDI, fax, exported to Microsoft Word or Excel, or just printed directly from the system.

Inventory Control Automates the supply chain process from manufacturers and distributors across multiple facilies and inventory locations. Provides complete tracking of materials by distribution point, employee, and product classification. MMic has a comprehensive set of reports that identify obsolete products, slow moving items, and high dollar volume products.

Requisitions MMic automates the requisitioning and departmental ordering process. No longer is it necessary to receive paper requisitions. The MMic requisitoining can be placed on local area network or your Intranet to allow on line requisitioning. Security to requisitions is controlled by a setting up User Access Levels (UAL). Each UAL can specify what requistions the employee can access. An UAL can also request a Status report that indicates the status of all orders. Employees instantly see if their order was filled, is waiting to be filled, placed on a purchase order, or backordered.

Barcoding MMic uses Symbol Technology Pocket PC's series for all barcoding needs. The PPT8800 unit is a Pocket PC that can be utilized for many other computing functions besides barcoding. MMic mobile devices allow for scanning or 'picking' from database list for accessing products.

Security The MMic system is login and password protected allowing only authorized access. Passwords are encrypted to prevent database hackers from gaining access to someone's login information. All transactions are date and time stamped and the person entering the transaction is recorded providing an execellent audit trail.

System Requirement MMic utilizes a multi-tier design that optimizes performance and distributes workloads across network computers. Microsoft SQL database provides maximum data access speeds and the multi-tier design allows a scalable solution to your facilities growing computing needs.
